FDF - Nissan 350Z/ Infiniti G35 Mega Mantis Angle Kit

It's January in Minnesota so I can't drive it yet but so far I'm am blown away with how this kit went together. Every bolt went in super clean and everything works like it should. Other angle kits have come machined crappy where you have to mod parts to get it together right but I'm telling you this kit is IT. You have 3 offset rack adjustments. I already had offset rack Spacers and I got to remove them because this kit has better ones. You can literally just buy the kit and it will bolt up without any fuss. I was going to buy from FDF because it's a little cheaper but the fast shipping from drift hq being in the US was so worth it. They got this thing to me in under a week from start to finish. This is a proper kit for a Z. No thank you wisefab, not trying to cut my car up to get your kit in. Can't wait to drive my car with the new geometry, zero Ackermann, and single joint caster swing. There is a ridiculous amount of adjustment in this kit. If you don't like my pictures, don't worry there's plenty of adjustment for your setup. Still just getting her dialed in figuring out wheels and alignment i want to run. Go for mega, it'll be worth it.

Was on the fence about making the leap to the Mega kit but 100% glad I did! Angle seems to be near limitless and transitions even at WOT are no problems. Straight forward install, quality is excellent, and unmatched customer service from DriftHQ and FDF Fab themselves.

The product I am reviewing was for 350Z/G35. The package arrived in good condition in a single box. All parts/components were meticulously wrapped and in perfect condition. All pieces fit as designed. Quality of workmanship is evident upon inspection, and installation is straightforward. The only complications encountered were as a result of previous modifications I made involving a skid plate and bash bar. According to installation videos available online, I expected the need to replace caliber mounting bolts, but was pleasantly surprised to see that FDF included new, shorter, grade 8 mounting bolts. Apparently, the folks at FDF are listening. As well designed as this kit is, don't expect a quick install, however. These kind of modifications, however well designed, need to be well considered. Don't make the mistake of giving yourself a short installation window, with an event on the horizon.

If your vehicle will be trailered, be aware the new front footprint is SIGNIFICANTLY wider, and you may find yourself having to make some adjustments to fit the vehicle on your trailer. The increased angle available is impressive.

Also, I found the folks at Drift HQ, from whom I purchased the package, to be well informed and courteous. The transaction was straightforward, and delivery, timely. I am looking forward to my first outing with the new kit, and I have the highest expectations.

In summary, If you want a complete angle kit, made of high quality and standards, I would recommend giving the Mega Mantis Kit a look.

Amazing kit! I debated on getting this kit or the Wisefab kit and honestly am really glad I went with this one. The quality is top notch, fdf and drift hq are both really great companies and if you have any questions you can message them and they almost instantly reply and try to help with anything. The kit makes the steering so much tighter and responsive and feels amazing, and almost unlimited angle for less than Wisefab? Doesn’t get much better than this so buy it and see for yourself.
